Penny Black Recipe Challenge

I finished this card for the Penny Black Recipe Challenge: 3 ribbons; 2 flowers; and 1 charm. I used matching papers from Darcy's Country Designs, flowers from Prima Flowers, the charm is from Modern Romance, and the ribbons are all from my stash. The adorable image is from Penny Black. I love the toads! The ovals were done with my spellbinder nestabilities.

The challenge can be found at .

Expression In Jewels: House Mouse White on White Challenge

House Mouse White on White Challenge

I made this card for the House Mouse white on white challenge. It was interesting to see how you could make the same color stick out from other elements on the card. I used Bazzill cardstock to start with, and layer it with lighter white cardstock embossed with a cuttlebug folder of swiss dots for the background, and another piece of cardstock done with a textile folder for the image. I was able to use white ribbon for trim, along with white pearls and white lace. A fun challenge!

Penny Black Soft and Sweet/Sketch and Stash Challenge 15

This little card is for the Penny Black Soft and Sweet challenge and the Sketch and Stash Challenge 15. For the background on the white cardstock, I used some co-ordinating papers from Provo Craft "bitty Scrap Pads", this one being "Just Ducky Baby" by Marie Cole. I made 2 paper flowers to match and I must say they turned out very nicely! The image, a sweet little mouse by Penny Black. I just got it todayas a matter of fact. I was very anxious to try it out!

A fun little challenge, and when you can combine two of them, that's even better!

Die Cut Dreams Challenge Blog

I made this card for the Die Cut Dreams Challenge--and the theme is Black and White. I'm really getting to love doing these black and white cards! They look so elegant don't they??? Anyway, the card itself is made from a Bazzill cardstock in white. I layered it with a black and white print from GCD Studios. I also used the same print to do an oval in the middle with my Spellbinder Nestabilities. I used some of the scrap to punch out little flowers in both the print and a plain black cardstock. I used a lighter weight white cardstock over the print to make another layer of embossed Swiss Dot (Cuttlebug). I used the plain black to make a smaller oval for the Hero Arts sentiment and to put a small square in the centre of the large oval. To this I added a 3-D image of flowers in a grey/white/silver mix. I thought this would be a lovely sympathy card. A great challenge and I look forward to many more.

Friday Sketchers Challenge

I made this card for the Friday Sketchers Challenge. It was a great sketch, not overly complex, which was nice for a change. I used an image from The Greeting Farm, stamped her in black Versa Mark ink, embossed her with clear embossing powder, and colored her with Tombow markers. I used a heavy pink cardstock for the background, and made matching flowers and paired the pink with a busy little pattern to make them pop. I added a sentiment from Hero Arts, and put that on an oval from my Spellbinder Nestibilities. The pink gems I got from the Rubber Room. They are selling these gems in bags for under $1.00, and they are jammed packed. Lots of variety as to size and colors. Oh yes, I finished the card off with 2 Martha Stewart pearls. All in all, a fun little challenge!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge /Build a Card

This was really an awesome challenge! Wonderful idea to have to find the needed elements, but also a great way to see some new blogs! Great work by the DT--look forward to more, inventive challenges.

I believe I have all the elements--I have blue, oval, matting, stamped image, 2 more colors(pink and brown), ribbon, flowers, charm, sparkle, and a friendship themed sentiment (you're the best!). The blue papers are from Chatterbox Inc., and the ovals were done with a spellbinder nestibility. The stamped image is a Serendipity stamp, the flowers are Prima flowers, the charm is from an unknown source, the sparkle is Stickles, and the sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts. All in all, great fun to do.

Happy Monday everyone--Rosanne

Truly Scrumptious Challenge

I made this card for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge sketch, and their color scheme of black, white and one other color. I used black cardstock for the card itself, and the outer circle, white cardstock for the inner circle and the strip down the side, and the printed cardstock is Cosett Collection "Floral Garden". The sentiment is Hero Arts. I used two different sized flower punches to make the little black and white flower. The 'other' color is orange, and I used it in the ribbon and the orange flower in the middle is a sticker from Magenta. I also used a black sticker for the stripe down the middle of the white rectangle. A fun challenge!

Cupcake Craft Challenge/The Next Level

This card was made using the black and white color challenge from the Cupcake Craft Challenge and the sketch from The Next Level. The black patterned paper is from Michael's, and it's GCD Cosette Collections, Stars and Swirls. I love the pattern in the paper. I used it as well in the little flowers along with plain white cardstock, the same as the white circle and the sentiment tag. I used little white button brads for the flower centers and I embossed the white circle with a cuttlebug folder "swiss dot". The large tulips are the 3-d image, and they are from a company in the UK, but I don't know the company name. All in all, and awesome challenge!

Charisma Card/Cute Card Thursday Challenges

This card combines the sketch from Charisma Cardz and the Xmas in July theme of Cute Card Thursday. The adorable image is from High Hopes, the dark green cardstock is Hunter Cordorouy from The Paper Company, and the printed green is Americana Traditional Designs. Unfortunately, I do not know the companies that the reds ,papers are from. I used three snowflake brads, and three small snowflake stickers. The ovals are spellbinder nestabilities, and the sentiments are stickers from the dollar store. It was fun to be able to combine the challenges.

Triple Challenge//Papertake Weekly/My Time to Craft/Stampavie and More

This little card is fullfilling three challenges this week. I used the sketch from Papertake Weekly, and the requirements from Stampavie and More (wanted to use colors Red and Blue), and My Time to Craft(A bird in the Hand).

I used a beautiful red flourish background cardstock, but I have no idea who it is made by. The blue snowflake paper is by The Robin's Nest, "Dark water color admiral". The plain blue is a bazzill cardstock. The image is High Hopes Winter Angel. I stamped it with black Versa Mark ink and colored it with Tombow markers. The scalloped shapes were made with Spellbinder nestabilities. A matte finish snowflake finished the card off perfectly. A fun card to do and I enjoyed being able to combine the challenges.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Secret Crafter Saturday Sketch

I enjoy working with Victoria Case designs. This particular digital image is fun to do. I printed it on watercolor paper so I could use Tombow markers to color it. The paper is Graphic 45, Baby 2 Bride Collection, and I'm not sure what kind of cardstock the green is, but I used a Cuddlebug embossing folder to give it some texture. The pearl embellishments are Martha Stewart.

A fun challenge!

Expression In Jewels: Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge

This little card was fun to make. I used a digital image from Victoria Case called "Toadilly", along with my computer generated sentiment. The matching background paper is from Darcy's Country Folk--very nice to work with! The little frog eyelets are cute, kinda fussy to use, but they are from Eye-Lets Etc. and the ribbon is from Michaels. The image was printed on watercolor paper from an inkjet printer, and I heatset the image. Tombow markers were used to color it in.

I enjoyed the challenge and look forward to doing more!

Peachy Keen Stamp Sketch Challenge

Here is a card I made for the challange. I used an image from High Hopes "Bediliah Butterfly", pink cardstock, not sure where it's from, blue cardstock "Denim Guest Floral" from Chatterbox Inc., and the sentiment is from Artful Stamper. The blue ribbon is some from previous projects.

The challenge was very enjoyable, and I look forward to being in future challenges!

My Time to Craft--Music to my ears challenge

The image on this card is 'Horse of Course' from Victoria Case. I love her designs. This particular image can be purchased in either digital or rubber. The background musical paper is from Botanicabella Collection called 'Dragonfly Duet'. Spellbinder nestabilities did the ovals--both plain and scalloped. The brads in the corners are from Queen and Co. 'Make Waves' and a Fiskars Lace punch did the corners.

I enjoyed this challenge and look forward to being in more challenges.
