Mojo Monday Sketch meets House Mouse Movie challenge

Happy Wednesday everyone! First of all my little House Mouse image was part of a blog candy prize and I'm so thrilled that I won it! Stephanne,(Stephanne Blogging? Oh Dear)thanks again for your generousity!

I have to say that my little image reminds me of STUART LITTLE! This little stamp is actually named "Relaxing Bubbles". I stamped him with Versafine black ink, embossed him with clear EP, and layered him on two label shapes from Stampabilities. The blue dot paper is by Chatterbox (dark sandbox flowers), the ivory/blue stripe is by Cross-My-Heart(Rosanne Herskind), and the blue swirl is Making Memories (dark scroll). All the bubbles in the image have been done with Glossy Accents. The 'jelly' water drops are from Cloud 9 Designs, pearls are from Recollections, sentiment is from Hero Arts and the ribbon is a no-name I picked up somewhere in my travels.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

High Hopes Christmas Challenge--no traditional colors

This was a fun challenge. I stamped the image with a silver ink and embossed her with clear embossing powder. I used Tombow markers to color her. The image is layered on a Spellbinder Nestability shape that has been embossed with a cuttlebug snowflake folder. The striped paper is from DaisyBucket Designs and is called Love You--Love Notes. The solid color is from a paper stack from DCWV-Jewel Colors. I used snowflake brads in silver and blue for embellishment.

Thanks for stopping by--Rosanne

Just Magnolia Bright and Zingy Challenge

Happy Monday and what a beautiful day we have here! The sun is shining and it's very comfortable outside. Awesome!!
I only have one Tilda stamp at the moment, so you will see her in many challenges for awhile. I stamped her with Versa Mark black ink and embossed her with clear embossing powder. She is sitting on a chair from WOJ, which has been stamped on a striped cardstock is from DCWV Gitter Mat Stack, and the solid colors are from same company and a stack pad called Jewel Colors. The striped paper is from DaisyBucketDesigns, and is called Love You--Love Lines. The flowers are from Prima. I used a spellbinder nestie for the image to be layered on, and I used a Martha Stewart border punch on the bottoms of the cardstock.

It was a fun challenge, and I enjoyed taking part in it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Creative Card Crew--Challenge 33

I had posted this card on my site, but not for any challenge--now it would fit perfectly in the Creative Card Crew's challenge of children and babies.

I am so excited at how this little card turned out. It's for my great-nephew's 4th birthday. He's not feeling too well at the moment, so I hope this will cheer him up!
I used High Hopes stamps for the images. I love those little cuties!! I put them all on corragated kraft paper, and put those on dark green bazzil paper. It doesn't have a lot on it, but just enough for a little guy to understand. I got the tutorial from google, (Annette Rolls)but the original instructions from there came from a lady named Marie Aviza's site. She called it an Accordian Fold Card.

Thanks for checking in--have a wonderful week!

Bronte and Bella's Challenge(Mo's Challenge Blog)

I was so excited to be able to take part in this challenge, but I think I'm too late! Oh well, I'm posting it anyway.

I used a wonderful Mo image from "dani and friends". These images are so true to life, it's spooky! I colored the image with tombow markers, and used my spellbinder wizard to do the cutout I layered her on. Then, I traced around the die cut and made a bigger one in purple paper (it tends to look grey!!) I used a cute little striped paper for the background, and had some pretty little pearl flowers to add further embellishments. I used Prima flowers, and that finished off the card. Hopefully, I'll be earlier next time.

Have a great Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving all! I am so happy to be able to take part in the Magnolia challenges at last! I just received my order from Simon Says Stamp with my Tilda stamp! I used Tombow markers to color Tilda and went to my scrap box to get the 'cloud' paper and the red strip I used at the bottom of the card. I don't know what companies they are from. I used two different kinds of Prima flowers, and the swing that Tilda is sitting on is a stamp from Whiff of Joy. I used two different ribbons on the side, and those came from Michael's. The sentiment is a sticker from Starform. I embossed the circle with a swiss dot cuttlebug folder. I then distressed it using Ice Blue Colorbox ink.

I am looking forward to future challenges.

Charisma Cards meets Creative Card Crew

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Seems to be a beautiful fall day out today. My card is celebrating a wedding! I used the recipe from Charisma Cards, 1 ribbon; 3 flowers; 3 papers (I used 4) and 1 charm. My image is a Whiff of Joy stamp, and my papers are from a 6 x 6 stack from Making Memories, appropriately called "Wedding". The bride has been colored with tombow markers, and her bouquet and headpiece are colored, then covered with Flower Soft for added embellishment. The flowers are from Prima, and I actually used a sketch from Friday Sketchers challenge from 2 or 3 weeks ago for my card.

It's been a while since I have posted. I hope I didn't forget anything!

Alison's Baby Card

This card is for Alison Acton who is expecting her first baby very soon. Her team thought it would be nice to send her as many cards as possible so I wanted to participate in the fun!! I used a stamp from Inkadinkadoo and cut it out with my spellbinder nestability oval shapes. I layer it with kraft corrugated paper, and then another oval in blue striped paper. I used a white ribbon for some embellishment, along with the sticker letters (notice the little teddy bears in the letters?) and little hearts in the corners. I colored the carriage with tombow markers.

Enjoy your new little baby Alison!
